January 2006 - Scott received a promotion in mid October and as of January has been
assigned to a new consulting project staffed in Washington D.C. through March.
Nicholas has popped his bottom two molars out. If I can ever get him to open his mouth
to see up above, I may find he's popped his upper molars as well. We're almost through
with the teething!
March 2006 - For those that don't already know, we're expecting a new addition to the
family on or around March 4th 2006. Stay tuned for the big arrival news!
Update: Alexander Robb Mastbrook arrived at home on February 6th 2006 at
2:56pm weighing in at a healthy 7pd10oz! Mom and baby are doing fine and
Nicholas and daddy are adjusting well to their new addition. Be sure to check
out our pictures of the new little bundle of joy! :) You can also check out the
Birth Story HERE.
April 2006 - Scott has finished up his project in Washington DC and will now be working
on a health care project up in New York City for the next eight weeks.
Alex finally had his first night of going two four hour stints! Mommy is very happy to say
the least! :) Update: Alex slept over 8 hours last night (May 6th) and both mom and baby
are happy to report it! :)
June 2006 - It's been a busy month of firsts for Alex! He's rolled both back to front and
front to back. And I just felt two bottom teeth tonight! (June 22nd) So Alex has just
gotten in his first two teeth. :)
Scott has been assigned to a new project in New Jersey, so still east coast.
July 2006 - We have a new link to view our videos! Any video we take below 100mb
will be posted HERE. Video's above 100mb, you'll just have to wait for the cd to be
made. ;)
October 2006 - There is a lot going on this month! First off, as many of you may
already know, Scott has decided to switch jobs. So we're currently in the job hunt mode
and should hopefully know a little more in the coming weeks. We aren't sure yet whether
we'll be staying in Dallas or moving, but we'll let everyone know once we know. The
second big news is that Alex is crawling! He actually started crawling right at 8 months
old. Yesterday (the 26th) he actually pulled up for the first time, so I'm placing a
prediction that he'll be walking by the time he turns a year. Now let's see how well I
know my child. ;)
Finally, I have started a blog of sorts, just to record daily happenings with the family.
This will most likely replace most future postings on the news site, so if you don't see it
here you can check out our BLOG.
December 2006 - Well, if you haven't seen a new post on the blog in a couple of weeks,
it's because I haven't been able to access it. It's been extremely frustrating so I finally
just started a new one and attached the old one to it. Here's the new BLOG. You will
need to check this one from now on for updates... or at least until I can figure out the
problem as to why I can no longer edit my old one. *sigh* (EDIT - The old blog is back!
I found it and am now adding again. Thanks for following us as the boys grow up!)
January 2007 - Alright, the blog is fixed so we're back on the old blog again. :) I've also
posted a few new videos up on YouTube from Christmas, so be sure to check them out!
We had a wonderful holiday visiting family but are glad to be back home and getting
back to normal. Alex has two new teeth which puts us up to ten now. ;)
April 2007 - Sorry for the long gap between posts! I've been taking a writing class and
it's been zapping all my free time lately! I finally finished my short story and have a gap
until my next one's due, so hopefully I should be able to catch up over the next few days.
Alex is still not walking yet. I'm starting to think he's wanting to wait until the exact
same time Nicholas did. He has all his teeth now (he had them by a year, just like his
brother). Nicholas is growing like a weed and is excited to start at his new preschool in
the fall. We are currently deep in the throws of potty training. Hopefully we'll get there
sooner rather than later! Scott is really loving his new job. He has been given extra
responsibility and is managing more than he thought he would at this level. He is
relishing the learning experience and loves what he does. All in all, we're doing well!
August 2007 - So I know I mentioned this on the blog, but Alex is finally officially
walking and Nicholas is finally, for the most part, potty trained! Two huge milestones for
our house. :) We're getting ready to head East to visit family and are excited to see
everyone! I wanted to post that there are two new videos up on You Tube for your
viewing pleasure. Scroll down this page to the July 2006 post for the link to You Tube
and enjoy! :)
